We thought we would update you on phase 2 registration for KBR 2016.
Since we reopened registration yesterday we got flooded with registrations and were averaging about 6 registrations per minute. 20 minutes after we reopened, Smash hit the max first followed by SFV 15 minutes later.
As of the time of this writing Pokken, Smash, and SFV all hit their max capacity for phase 2. The other games have 3-5 places left depending on the game.
Phase 3 registration starts on Wednesday March 9th @ 4PM Kuwait local time. Smash and SFV are the main games this year and as such will have double the space as the other games. So if you haven’t been able to sign up for Smash or SFV yet, make sure to do so on March 9th as it will be your final chance.

We have recieved an incredible number of registrations for Kuwait Battle Royale 2016 in the last 48 hours! We would like to thank the community for showing their support for this event. We promise you we will make it the best possible tournament in the Middle East!
Due to KBR 2016 being a free event, we decided to have the registration come in 3 phases. This was to insure everyone had an equal chance at registering for KBR 2016. We did not expect phase 1 to COMPLETELY sell out in less than 48 hours though! As such we have adjusted the dates for the next phases and wanted to be clear with everyone when each phase will happen.
Phase 2 will be on Saturday Februrary 13th at 4PM Kuwait local time
Phase 3 will be Wednesday March 9th at 4PM Kuwait local time
Additionally we will no longer advertise when registration opens on our social media accounts. Only a notification via our app will notify you when regiatration opens. Or you can visit the registration page on the site at the above times and dates.
There are 2 ways to register for KBR 2016. Either download our application for Android or iOS or via our website. You can find the link to our application at the bottom of our website.
We had planned the event to have a maximum capacity of 320 participants and are currently at 25% capacity.
We apologize for any inconvience this may have caused, and we hope you understand our reasonings.
The Fikra Team
we are still finalizing schedule but not all games will be at 5pm or even start on Thursday. They will be spread out between Thursday and Friday and finals on Saturday. Stay tuned while we finalize schedule
It seems all tournaments start at 5PM on 28th. Some of us are traveling from different countries on a Thursday (work day). Will pools really start at 5 or is that just the general opening time?
yes there is space and more will open on March 9. This is a free tournament so we have to put a limit
is there spots left for SF5 & MKX ? ... there should not be a limit to how many players entering the game.
Brackets are done after registration is over
Can we see the brackets?
Yes it says more registrations will open on March 9th. Phase 2 finished very quickly today
It says that registrations are full for Smash4, can I somehow register?
You are welcome!
